Led the rebuild of Quality-Supplements.org for an improved ecommerce experience

Challenge
The United States Pharmacopeia (USP), a non-profit organization setting quality standards for medicines and dietary supplements, needed to improve its quality-supplements.org⧉ website. The existing Drupal site suffered from poor organization and lacked user-friendly search functionality, making it difficult for consumers and healthcare professionals to find USP Verified supplement products⧉. With growing consumer concern about supplement quality and safety, USP required a more intuitive digital experience that would help users quickly identify certified products meeting their needs.

Solution
Leading the website rebuild, I redesigned key sections of the Drupal site with a focus on improving user experience and search functionality. As an affiliate website, its primary enhancement was implementing faceted search for the product finder, allowing users to filter and narrow supplement products by multiple criteria simultaneously, such as supplement type, brand and delivery form. I restructured the site architecture to create logical navigation pathways and organized product information in a more accessible format. The redesign prioritized mobile responsiveness and streamlined the user journey from search to product discovery, ensuring that both consumers seeking specific supplements and healthcare professionals researching certified products could efficiently find the information they needed.

Results
The redesigned quality-supplements.org website delivered an improved user experience that better served USP’s mission of promoting supplement quality and safety.
